Kim and Family in reading the memories that were written about Scott it made me think of this poem. Supposedly the author was Robert Louis Stevenson.
That man is a success who has lived wel!, laughed often, and loved much; who has gained the respect of intelligent men and the love of children; who has filled his niche and accomplished his tasks; who leaves the world better than he found it whether by an improved poppy, a perfect poem or a rescued soul; who never lacked appreciation of earth's beauty or failed to express it; who looked for the best in others and gave the best he had.

I knew Scott during our SJ school years, lost touch after we graduated, but I always enjoyed talking with him during our youth. He was kind and friendly and an all around great guy. My condolences to his family.

Scott and I lived 2 blocks apart, grew up together, went through all of our schools together, and became real good friends. We did a lot of things together and even shared a couple of girlfriends ! Scott was one of our Roadies for "Catharsis" back in the day. Our moms were also real good friends. I bought several sets of tires from Scott's dad, at the Firestone dealer in BH. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is that he will be in my great memories forever. He will be missed. R.I.P., my good friend.

I grew up on Mohawk Lane and knew the Hill family quite well. So saddened to hear of Scott's passing. May God give a comfort and peace to his family.

The most intelligent man I have known. The most trusting man I have known. The most patient man on earth. Scott was very special.
No more watermelon shots. No more sinking ships and worst of all no more humidumies.
Terrific loss. If you don’t know that yet you surly will as time goes on
