Your mother was such an amazing woman! She accomplished so much in her lifetime, but I will always remember her for the kindnesses she showed to this "Spinks Corners kid". There was never a time when I walked into your home that she didn't have a smile and a kind or encouraging word for me. Over the past years, I would periodically run into her at a local store, and she was still the same kind and upbeat lady. My condolences to all of you - the world is a better place because of her life.

Deep condolences to the children of Aunt Marion (Joan, Sharon & Tom) and much appreciation for the long-distance care they provided her that allowed her to stay in her home as she wished. Aunt Marion was a lovely lady and will be greatly missed by us.

Marion attended Preakness Reformed Church in Wayne, NJ whenever she visited Joan and Dave in Ridgewood. It was always a pleasure to see her bright smiling face. Her memory was legendary and stayed with her until the end of her life. She was a blessing to all who knew her.

Dear Sharon, Joan, and Tom,
What a wonderfully loving and kind woman your mom was to so many of the Spinks Corners "kids". She and my mom also shared a long and close friendship. Choir practices, church & school programs, 4H (She was my sewing teacher.), ice ream socials, church dinners...and perhaps a few kids' mischief-- all handled. Although we moved away, the memories are still so strong of our growing up years and the lessons she and the ladies taught us, have served us well. How hard it is to let such a Mother go! May you each know "That Peace That Passes Understanding, way down in the depths of your hearts."
