Mrs. Knitter : Very saddened to read about Lee. I worked with him when he was an apprentice for John Greenman and again at the Cook plant where we were both foreman. He was one very smart carpenter and a good B.A. plus a super nice guy. I'm sure that all that knew him will mourn his passing. Ron Cerecke

Lee was fun to work with at SJ high school. I liked teasing him about the U of M football team. He will be missed. Mark Blake

Lee Knitter was married to my sister. He was very devoted to her and her daughters. Their fist Granddaughter Allix always referred to Lee affectionately as Pa.
My favorite memory of Lee was his laugh. I can still hear his laugh when I think of him. Every time I remember it, it makes me smile
Lee embraced all of us into his life. I always felt welcomed in their home. Anytime I was in town I knew I always had a place to stay.
I'm glad Lee's suffering is over and he no longer has to endure the pain caused by his illness. Rest easy Lee you are sorely missed.

Lee was my neighbor for the past 15 years. He watched my kids grow and he always asked how my family and how my business was doing. He was always keeping his home in tip top shape, including keeping his lawn looking like a putting green. He sure made it hard on me and my lack of landscaping skills. I appreciated how kept an eye out for my family and house when we were travelling. Rest in peace Lee. We will miss you. The Shimunek's
