I am so saddened by this news. I have such fond memories of Steve and Steve in high school. Where there was one, there were two. I remember his huge smile and gentle soul. I loved seeing him and Nancy's story on FaceBook, having known Nancy since grade school. I will be praying for all of those that love him. I am so very sorry he left so soon, but rejoice in knowing he is with the Lord.

Steve was one of my dearest friends from high school, and one of the most gentle, affirming people in my life at that time. Whenever I saw him afterwards, it was like no time had passed. His tender, funny personality never changed. And I know he treasured his girls more than anything. My heart breaks with yours, but I am sure we will meet again one day, and again, it will be like no time has passed. Much love to you all.
