I’m so sad to hear about Elaine’s passing. It breaks my heart that I won’t be able to attend the memorial and hug all of her family that she loved dearly. We might go years without talking but when we reconnected it was like no time at all had passed. But every time we talked the subject would come up of “our tree”. It was the place we would meet during our early teens and sit in and discuss boys, school, boys, parents, boys. I loved our stay overs at her house. And her mother was the best. She was my soul mate. We had just made plans to get together when things got back to normal. And as always we ended the conversation with “I love you!” ?

I went to Sorter school with her and worked with her at Zenith. I told her that I remembered at 8th grade dance that I envied her because she was so popular and a great dancer

Most never know what they got till it's gone.
I will miss her so very much. Our talks, laughs,
and having a good meal. Oh at Thanksgiving what
a meal. Most of all our extended chats about numerous
subjects. And the sharing of Atomic Fire Balls!
The neatest and coolest human being I will ever know.
Both Elaine & Rick in my thoughts and prayers always.
She is not hurting anymore….. Craig

I was honored to know Elaine growing up throughout our teen years. So many sleep overs and just doing silly teenage things. Her Mother was always there for all of the girls, she made our outfits basketball cheerleading at Sorter school. I was fortunate to have reconnected with Elaine a few years back when a bunch of us from the old neighborhood got together. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
