I went on 2 cruises with Patricia, the first one was a Caribbean cruise where I had the pleasure of meeting her husband Robert as a matter of fact when we put into port at Niece France and the group split into 2 groups I got to Help Bob with the group returning to the USA while Patricia and Tom Edgerton took the rest on to Paris where they were stranded for a few days due to a air traffic controller strike. My final cruise with her was a 10 day cruise/land tour to Alaska, Patricia had an infectious smile and when she smiled she glowed, she is the only person I know of that carried a suitcase full of candy that distributed every night. God has gained a special angel And Bob has lost his angel here on earth, my thoughts and prayers go out to you Bob and the rest of your family.

Was so saddened to read of Pat's passing and just recently passed her old home by Leeper Park and thought of her, remembering what a great mentor she was to me as a young artist. I first met her in the 70s when she shopped for art supplies at Office Engineeres in downtown South Bend where I worked briefly after high school. In walked this beautiful woman with long dark hair who was so friendly and engaging and shared her recent art projects with me as she'd purchase supplies for her ongoing paintings. We always chatted and discussed her art progress as well as my own. She even invited me to her lovely home to view her studio and see her work in progress. Pat was just a beacon of loveliness and I so envied her studio space and creativity. She encouraged me to pursue my art and was always supportive and inquisitive of my projects when she would come in. How sad to lose that light and a part of my creative history. Deepest of sympathy to her family and know she touched MY life and my career as an artist.
RIP Pat.
Sincerely,

Pat was a wonderful person and a long time member of the SJ Police Department Retired Senior Volunteer Patrol. (RSVP) She was amazing! Always smiling, so much fun to talk to. I always enjoyed seeing her at the police department when I was still an officer. I would see her periodically around town still. I can't believe she's gone. RIP Pat. Prayers and comfort to her family
