I'm so sorry that I am just now finding out that Mrs. Rohacs passed away. I was a member of Troop 563 in Dowagiac at the First Christian Church. Mr. and Mrs. Rohacs were both committee members when I was in the Scouting program. She was always kind and made sure that the kids were taken care of. Mrs. Rohacs taught the First Aid Merit Badge and headed up many programs within the council. I will always remember the First Aid Meets, the Father and Son Campouts as well as the many troop activities that both she and Mr. Rohacs were a part of. I'm blessed to have known her. May she rest in peace.

I worked with Pat at Memorial Hospital in South Bend for many years. When I first met her, she scared me because she did not suffer fools. But she became one of my most beloved friends and mentors. She had that infectious laugh and always knew what to do. When Pat was on duty with me, I immediately felt all would be well. She was one of the most loving people I knew. I so enjoyed the stories she shared of her kids; -Judy and her dogs & motorcycle and Chuck and John. I'd run into into her and Joe at Meijers. She'd greet me with that great bear hug and laugh ....We'd sit and gab forever--until Joe told us to wrap it up. :)
She loved attending the ice festival and we looked forward to seeing the photos of the ice sculptures she'd share. And what can I say about her cookies at Christmas! She was an amazing baker and we benefited many times from her talent & generosity.
After she retired, she , Robin(another good nurse/friend) and I would take a day to browse Shipshewanna from time to time. If Robin or I were looking for something in particular, Pat would be sure to scope it out and find it for us. She was just a dear, dear person who's love for family and friends knew no bounds.
.
My heartfelt sympathies on your loss. She surely made an impact in my life and will be greatly missed. I am so grateful to have known her.

Pat and I along with Sharon Hardy (her neighbor) were childhood playmates. We grew up together, went to school together, joined the Order of Rainbow for Girls and Order of Eastern Star together. Sorry to hear of her passing.

We will miss Pat so much at Pla-Mor Campground. We always knew we would see Pat on the weekends that we were there. If there was anything we needed we all knew Pat would have it. Pat was a wonderful person that would do anything for you. I loved sitting on her porch talking to her. She’s going to be missed.
