Dear Chris, Stacey, Steve and family, This news has so saddened me but at the same time has brought back so many wonderful, happy memories of Francis at the Tam! He was one of the best bosses I have ever worked for and was so much the reason that the Tam was a warm and loving place to work. I will always remember him so very fondly. Also, I had no idea that he had moved on to become such a great educator and coach, and it is clear that he touched so many other people's lives in wonderful ways throughout his too short life! My thoughts and love are with you in this hard time.

He was always so patient when helping me get paperwork done for my daughters so they can attend dance. Always friendly and I often found myself talking to him for lengths of time even when on a tight schedule because I enjoyed his company. He will be missed. My condolences to his family.

He was one of the best teachers I ever had at Lakeshore high in 2002 and 2003. He taught me a lot. I always looked up to him. One of your best students, Nichole Busch formally huizenga

This is both shocking and very sad news. We just spoke online and had hope to see each other this summer. Francis was in our wedding in 1993 at the Woodstock and I am married to former police officer David O’Laughlin and we enjoyed our early dating years at the Tamoshanter along with many of her friends. We remember how David would talk his way into the bar and we would enter through the back door in the kitchen stepping over the basement stairs while others waited on the sidewalk for hours. It was an iconic place and every time we are out dancing to live music we make some mention of a memoryOf the Tamoshanter. We share in our love and memories and send love to the entire family he was a dear and wonderful soul and I love that he could reinvent himself. He was also one of the most amazing dancers. I remember dancing with him in my wedding gown at my wedding and feeling like the belle of the ball. Francis he will be very much missed by all who knew you and appreciated your wonderful kind sense of humor.

As the old song says:
“How do you thank someone who has taken you from crayons to perfume…A friend who taught me right from wrong and weak from strong
That's a lot to learn, but what can I give you in return?”
Francis, I love you and will never forget the many many things you did for me. I will be there for Christine, Casey, Michael and Corinne. Forever. Your friend, Bill

Frances was always courteous, polite and very willing to offer assistance whenever possible. We shared many good times together and he always could bring a smile to my face even throughout the rough times.
He had great insight and whenever there was a trivia question in the office he was the go to guy. His appreciation for music was equally as deep as his trivia prowess and we shared similar music genres.
My condolences go out to Frances' family and friends. He will be truly missed and every time I say "ahau" I'll think of him as he liked that word. Ahau!!
