Martha's Memory Wall
We encourage you to share your most beloved memories of Martha here, so that the family and other loved ones can always see it. Share your favorite stories or comment on those shared by others.
Very sorry to hear of Martha's passing. Both my parents (Ken and Donna Bailey) and I enjoyed our visits with Martha at her home and at the Moose Lodge. My dad was particularly fond of her cherry pies and pumpkin rolls! For a while both Martha and my dad worked/volunteered at the Elks Club. Myself, I graduated with Sharon and occasionally ran across her while in Dowagiac. I share your sorry and hope the family maintains many fond memories. Bless all of you. Gary Bailey

Was so sorry to hear about Aunt Martha. She was a very special lady and I always tried to see her when I was home. My very best to you all and your families. I will not be able to be home for the funeral but know that my thoughts are with you. I will send something to Saint Jude Research Hospital in her name, rather than send flowers. My love to you all. Martha and Lyle were a big part of my and my family's life. Always there to lend a hand, always nice and a great pie maker. Rest in Peace.

Condolences and Prayers for the family. I've known Martha most of my life. She was a very sweet lady. Martha and Lyle once drove down to Texas to see me and stayed with me for a few days. Both Martha and Lyle were very special friends to our family.
Cherish the memories.
Sincerely,
Tracy (Behnke) Mikes

So very Sorry to hear the news of Martha's passing. She was a Very Nice Lady. I knew Her and her Husband Lyle. Both are just the Kind of People you would want in your Home Town. I'm sure They are Dancing together in Heaven. Just don't make People like Her anymore. God Bless Martha.
