Our condolences on the passing of Onnolee. All the Clarks have great memories of our shared family events; horse shows, sledding parties, the Fair week and July 4th parties. Onnolee was the unofficial Mayor and Head Seamstress of Dowagiac during our school years. She was our Mom's best friend and Harvey's coffee clutch founder. I can still hear that group laughing over coffee! We all ran when we were sick and Mom came at us with some vinegar concoction that "Onnolee said would help". Just like in your family, she was always there for us and made our childhoods filled with great memories. We hope these memories bring you comfort in your time of loss. I know she and Harriet are together and laughing over a cup of coffee. Kay, Kent, Gary Clark

Such a very special, caring, friendly, joyful, ambitious , all around great lady. I loved running into to Onnalee and having our little "talks". The community has gained a special angel. She had memories of things I didn't even remember. She always had a smile for anyone she came in contact with. Prayers for strength and comfort to the family during this difficult time. Hold all the memories close to your heart and she will always be with you.

So enjoyed being around Onnolee. Always ready to pitch right in and help. Such a caring person. Great woman and friend. Also worked beside her in Town & Country Garden Club tending gardens and beautiful downtown planters. I'm sure she's standing at the ready with trowel in one hand and thread and needles in the other. Such a valued giver in our community.

Much like my Grandma Gwilt, Onnolee was an absolute joy to see. She was always my first call when I needed an alteration. From my high school years in the mid 90s to April 2018, she altered dance recital costumes ,prom dresses pageant gowns, skirts, suits etc...... you name it ...... the last alteration she did for me was for my wedding last year. For nearly 3 decades she not only gave my wardrobe a personal touch, but loved to chat, share new stories and talk so fondly of her family and grandchildren.
She lived a long and loving life. I’m sad to hear she has passed and will be greatly missed by many. My thoughts and prayers to her family.

Oh my - my heart is broken. What a neat lady. I really don't know where to start. She was a beautiful soul who touched so many over the years. I have tons of memories growing up with Onnolee. I spent many afternoons with her at the cleaners or at the house. I have awesome mad paperdoll making skills because of her. She was a lady that I have always respected and admired my entire life. Always greeted you with a smile and opened up her house when we would just drop in unexpectedly. We loved catching up with her, reminiscing about the good ole days. She was a bright star in the sky of many and I will always hold her memory close to heart. All my love to the Van Husans......She will be missed deeply.
