Dear Ann Marie and Paula,
Some of the most vivid memories of summer that I can still picture in my mind are our visits with your family at the Dunes. We had such great times together at the beach. When I think of your dad I will always remembers the joy of those beautiful warm days.

I have fond memories of uncle Sam (Dolly – as he was called even though he didn’t particularly care for that name) and aunt Clara. As a boy our family visited them in a faraway place called New Buffalo, Michigan. I think back to those times. It was the furthest we had ever been from Melrose Park, Ill. I remember the visits to uncle Dolly and aunt Clara. I can still see them in my memory as they were then. Wonderful people who will remain in my memory always. God bless you. Know that you are loved and are missed. Paul Palermo

Dear Uncle Sammy (Dolly ), Some of the best memories I have were of my family ( all 8 of us ) going to New Buffalo Mi. where we all stayed together in Uncle Dolly and Aunt Clara's house . We ate together, we played together..... to the Dunes, and we loved together as a family. And then in July, you all came to Melrose Pk., Il for the Feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel , great times were had by all ! May you rest in our Lords Presence with family that has passed before you. God Bless you, Joyce Palermo Semenchuk
