Linda, Rob, Chuck: I am so very sorry for your loss. Like your mom, you dad holds a special place in my heart. He was so involved with the youth group at church, particularly when I was in middle school. He was happy to drive a group of kids where ever we were going, cook and serve at our many ham and bean or pancake dinners, and even chaperone our overnight camp-outs. He was so patient. I don’t remember him ever losing his temper, which showed great restraint because our group was big -- and middle schoolers can be pretty squirrely. In later years, I’d visit with your parents when they were volunteering at vacation Bible School, and we would always wave at the St. Joe football games when they were watching Elliott play. He was a great role model of what a “dad” should be. I’m thinking of you all. Dana Skidmore Donley

Rob,
Truly sorry for the loss of your father. I never met him, but it is clear he was an outstanding individual as professed by his service in the military and the legacy he has left behind for all to remember. I know, that you and your family were very proud of the one you called dad.

Sorry to hear of Bob's passing. Sure that he has been reunited with Mary and is at peace. My sympathy goes to the family. Used to love to see Bob and Mary at church when I came back to Buchanan to visit.
