We encourage you to share your most beloved memories of Elizabeth here, so that the family and other loved ones can always see it. Share your favorite stories or comment on those shared by others.
We have been members of First Presbyterian Church in Buchanan for a number of years. Unfortunately, we didn’t know Betty throughout our association with the church, but we have always felt her presence as we worshipped and served with her children, grandchildren and friends. Through and with them, we have joyously shared her sweet, giving spirit and love of Christ. Thank you, Betty, for the countless legacies you have left for us all.

I had the joy of meeting Betty in 2009 when a family friend Marshall Doak of St. Joseph, Michigan took me to her home. We shared many good conversations about her service to our country as she was a code breaker cryptologist. To Betsy Zech who allowed us to come and interview Betty, many thanks and my sincere sympathy for losing your remarkable mom. May her memory be forever eternal! George

As Betty's primary physician for many years, I want to say that I always looked forward to seeing her when I noted her name on my daily schedule. I treasured our time together as I learned of her past, her family and the experiences she valued most in her life. I learned so much from her aging process which she did with dignity mostly because of the love and support from her family. You all worked so hard and are to be commended for your efforts. Betty--you raised your family well!!

My family and I extend our sincere sympathy. Betty was a wonderful lady and helped my children many years with 4H knitting projects for the Berrien County Youth Fair. She was a blessing to our community.

So very sorry to hear about "aunt" Betty's passing. She was like a member of our family. She brought such cheer and comfort to my Mom, Junice Dick, in her last days. It's nice to know that now they are reunited and having a good long chat.

Mrs. B made a difference in my life and the lives of many others. She was a role model and taught life skills to many youngsters. What wonderful memories from Red Bud Trail!
Sending love and peace.

Oh the Christmas tree! You could always count on it being decorated for every holiday. Once it went up it stayed up till next Christmas! So loved the ready smile that was always on her face, Betty was always happy to see you.
