Jack was such a great mentors to me and helped me get started in my teaching career. My sincere sympathy to the family. I always loved seeing his cheerful smile when I would see him in his store. Thinking of you all and sending prayers to the family

In honor of Jack, Susan Chevrette lit a candle.
Johnson School Neighborhood offers our condolences to Mr. Cooper's family and friends. Many of us had him as the Principal at Johnson as well as Hull and we think of him fondly as he was always present to provide a steady positive influence. I am sure there will be many stories about "John D," at our upcoming Johnson School reunion. Our deepest sympathy for your loss.
