Robert Clark Brown

Robert Clark Brown, 78, of Dowagiac passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at his home. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at the Indian Lake Yacht club, 5590 Indian Lake Rd, Dowagiac, starting at 4:00PM. Robert was born on February 25, 1940 in Chicago, IL to Willard and Gladys (Clark) Brown. He attended Allen Park High School where he graduated from in 1958. Robert proudly served in Country in the United States Army from 1960 to 1964. He was the president of the South Bend Military Board, Indian lakes Yacht Cub and a member of the Yana House in Niles. Robert enjoyed golfing, reading about history and loved listening to Jazz Music and traveling. Most of all he loved his family and will be missed by all who knew him. Robert is survived by his children, Todd (Julie) Brown, Kurt (Cindy) Brown, Becky (Kevin) Schermerhorn, Michelle (Jim) Delarye, Brian (Erica) Brown, Sean (Rachel) Burlingham, Tracy Burlingham, Skye (Staci) Burlingham; grandchildren, Kyle, Josh, Brent, Matthew, Alexander, Rachel, Andrew, Courtney, Levi, Skyelar, Brendan, Ashley, Preston, Jamielynn, Abigail, Samantha, Katherine and Penelope; great-grandchild, Elaina; brother Jim (Gwen) Brown and his special cats Scooter and Tango. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson Dylan. Robert will be greatly missed.
