I'm so sorry for your loss, Sue. You both meant so much of me during my high school years, and even after, for instilling in me a true love for the sport of tennis. Thinking of you.

So very sorry Sue. Larry was an enjoyable tennis foe who I could not master but very much enjoyed playing. His love of cars bound us together, especially Corvettes. Top down cruising in his Red Vette and white hat with a big smile is how I would like to leave him! God speed Larry I will miss you.

My sincere thoughts & prayers to Sue and Larry's family.
Larry was always happy, smiling, and very kind to everyone.
I do remember the "Driftwood" days at Sister Lakes....sure was
fun! One could always see Larry,..... those were the days.
Here's to you Larry, may you find more tennis games to play.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Sue. Larry was a wonderful person and enjoyed the time we spent with him at the car shows and loved hearing all of his stories.

Many fond memories of Larry--from high school to Eastern Michigan University to the present. I think I will miss most of all Larry's smile and infectious laugh. His courage near the end of his life was inspiring and sets an example for all of us: no self pity, only a reflection of a life so fully lived and genuinely appreciated. May you rest in peace ole friend. Love, Gary Bailey

It is hard to express the sadness of Larry's passing. He was a great guy and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. If you approached a tennis court, you could tell if Larry was there, for you could him chatter like no one I have ever met. A good guy. My heart goes out to Sue. May God look over you and help you through these extremely hard times. Sue you will be in my prayers.

Larry was a rare gem. His passion for life, his thirst for competition and his intelligence in the things that matter most formed a blueprint for a life well-lived. He left us far too soon but we can learn from how he lived his life by living ours to the fullest while showing loyalty to our friends and respect to all.

I enjoyed many hours of playing tennis with Larry and talking about fishing and the Tigers. I appreciated playing the Dowagiac tennis tournament as his partner and against him. I enjoyed meeting up with Larry and Sue at the Kalamazoo Nationals. Larry will be missed.
