Dear Barb and family, Bob was a 'top-notch' guy with a big heart! He always cared about others before himself. I am grateful for knowing Bob and for the working relationship we had at Ameriwood. I am sending my deepest sympathy to you and to your family and prayers for comfort.

To Barb and the extended Ickes family --
My deepest sympathies to you and your family. I hope you find comfort in knowing that Bob was a man that loved his family and friends, and that that love was reciprocated by all who got to know him. His warm smile and outgoing personality will truly be missed. Rest in peace, old friend.
Sincerely,
Jim "Egor" Moran

Barb and boys; although I never met any of you in person, I felt I knew you. I have worked at Ameriwood for 30+ years. Bob talked about all of you often and you could tell how proud and how much you all meant to him by the tone in his voice. I work in the Wright City MO office; but spent many hours on the phone with Bob --- he was always willing to help; and to ease a stressful situation, always had a story about his grandkids or a good joke to tell. He was a good friend and will be missed. My sincere sympathy to you all.

Bob was one of those truly good guys. I know John thought very highly of him and loved the friendship they had. Now the old bowling team will be adding one more to the roster and ordering a round. My heart goes out to you, love Jane.

Barb and family,
Bob was the lifeguard at Lake of the Woods when I was a kid. He looked over the rest of the younger kids with great care and humor. I am glad to have ran into him through the years and always enjoyed talking to him. I was very proud to have Adam become a member of the department where I spend my career. God bless you all during these difficult times. Thanks for watching out for us Bob.
