Sandy was one of the kindest people to walk this Earth. I warm-heartedly remember our many wonderful lunches at Bistro 110. She will be missed!

When I moved to Decatur at the start of our Junior year in 1961 it was Sandra (Sandy) who came forth with her welcoming smile and personality. Thank you Sandy; you probably never knew how much that meant to me. Peace be with you. Debbe (Overton) Davis

Sandy, I always enjoyed working with you for many years at Lakeview Community Hospital. Be at peace now with no more suffering.

Sandy was an amazing life-long learner who enjoyed life's greatest pleasures of family and nature. I particularly recall her deep appreciation of birds and flowers. Knowing my own interests, she would initiate discussions of comets and current viewing of planets as well as current affairs - the latter of which we confidentially discussed and often found to be similar in view. A strong, positive force as a patient advocate, she served as a prime role model in how to 'peel back an onion' on issues while always emphasizing patient rights. Many thanks, Sandy, for sharing your wealth of knowledge as well as providing selfless, devoted service for countless others in need. Godspeed, friend. Gail Warren
