Stacey Miller

Funeral Arranger

Stacey started off working as an office assistant for SFFH in 2014 while finishing her Bachelor of Social Work Degree from Goshen College (2016). Once she graduated, she joined the Starks team full time and started training to become a funeral arranger.

“If you would have told me seven years ago that I had a future career in the funeral business, I wouldn’t have believed you. This profession found me, and I definitely believe it is what I was meant to do. I can’t pick just one person or director who has helped me. They have all assisted in my training and helped guide me to be the arranger I am today. I wouldn’t be where I am today without all of their influence.”

She is most impressed by the way SFFH goes above and beyond for each family they meet. Personalization is implemented into each funeral service because each person is unique in their own way.

“I think it is important that their funeral service reflects who they were as a person. I love working for SFFH, we are a great team and we are all family here. Everyone plays their part in serving the community and I can honestly say I am proud to be a part of this great team who I consider family.”

Being a natural helper and people person has helped Stacey in this industry.

“This is a tough profession to work in, but I am greatly honored to serve my community and help families when they are at their lowest. To help them during the healing process is very rewarding.”

Stacey was born and raised in Paw Paw and attended Lawton Schools. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, being outside and spending time with her family.

She has been married to her husband Tony for 13 years. He works for the City of Dowagiac full time and the Dowagiac Fire Department part time. Together, they have an 10 year old daughter Mckenzie.
