When Sandra joined Starks Family Funeral Homes’ Filbrandt Chapel in 2021, she brought a decade of funeral industry experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science in mortuary science from Wayne State University. Sandra proudly serves as manager and takes great pride in listening to grieving families, hearing their stories and honoring their loved ones’ lives.

Sandra is deeply proud to work for a funeral home where serving families is their priority and where they treat their employees like family, too.
She, and her husband Mark of 28 years, are very active in the South Haven Rotary Club and its service projects. Besides Rotary, Sandra enjoys walking through beautiful South Haven, reading, and spending time with Mark, her daughter and son, and six grandchildren. Her two dogs, Gloria and Ginger, and cat Gracie bring her joy at the end of each workday.
