Kelly has spent her whole life in Southwest Michigan. She has 11 years of office administration experience and joined Starks Family Funeral Homes in 2020. 

The most rewarding part of her work is hearing how the Starks’ services have provided peace and comfort to families during such a difficult time. Her coworkers have made the transition into the funeral service industry easier.

“I consider everyone here a mentor since I am new to this industry. Since my first day here, everyone has been so welcoming, friendly and helpful. I think there’s something to learn from all of our staff.”

Kelly provides families with a friendly, comforting and professional demeanor when working with them. She knows at the end of the day, the most important thing she can do to help them is to listen, empathize and make sure all of their needs are being met. 

In her time with SFFH, the genuine thoughtfulness, care and consideration that the staff shows to each family and their community has stood out to her most. 

Outside of work, Kelly loves to golf, fish in Lake Michigan, explore Northern Michigan and spend time with family, friends and her dog, Trooper. She has been married to her husband Marc for five years and has two step-daughters: Devin and May.
