Licensed Funeral Director / Embalmer

Jeffrey Jakeway grew up in Bridgman, Michigan, and moved back to join Starks Family Funeral Homes. He earned his associate of applied science degree in mortuary science from the Worsham College of Mortuary Science. Jakeway is a licensed funeral director and embalmer. His apprenticeship was in Indianapolis, Indiana. Afterwards, he worked in Muskegon for 8 years before working with us

“I enjoy being able to make a very difficult time easier for the families I am serving,” Jakeway said. 

Outside of work, Jakeway likes to watch and play soccer, and watch and learn about film and cinema. He especially loves spending time with his family. He and his wife Tiara both graduated from Bridgman High School in 2010 and have two sons — twins.
