Willie Don Lane, 74, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022 at his home.

Willie was born to William and Joy (Brown) Lane in Arkansas on June 16, 1947. He graduated from Baptist School of Nursing with a Licensed Psychiatric Technician Nursing degree. His entire career was spent in the nursing field helping others. He was a proud U.S. Marine serving in the Viet Nam conflict. He traveled all over the world, seeing all 50 states and 49 countries, his favorite place was Hawaii. He often jumped on a train car to get to school in Benton Harbor. Willie loved fishing and his favorite place was “any place he could get his hook wet”.
Willie is survived by his sons; William (Samantha) Lane, Don (Sabrina) Lane, daughter; Joy Horn, grandchildren; Kaleb Lane, Grayson Lane, Savannah Watson, Dalton Horn, Jeremy Burkett, Tyler, Chase & Ethan Lane; sister Wanda Burnett and brother Thomas Lane. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers; Curtis and Randy Lane.
