Wendy's Obituary
Wendy Jill Nachtigal Lanning, 71, of 10 Mile, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at her brother’s home under the Hospice care, South Haven, Michigan.
Wendy was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on December 15, 1951. She graduated at Howel High School 1970 and attended Northern College. She taught as a substitute teacher for a short time and was a Kroger Store Cashier. Wendy had many hobbies including reading, crocheting, and art.
She was a Reke Master, an ordained Minister for the Universal Life Church. She also had a contractor license. Wendy and her husband loved to travel and they enjoyed many trips and a cruise, and finally settled in Tennessee. Wendy also traveled to Australia where she swan in the Great Barrier Reef.
Wendy is survived by her only son, Jeremy H.B. Nachtigal and two grandchildren, Brandon Nachtigal and Mackenzie Nachtigal. She is also survived by her brother, Walter K (Linda) Nachtigal.
Wendy is proceeded in death by her late husband, Jerry Lanning and her parents, Walter F. & Welthy Mae Nachtigal.
Wendy’s wishes were to be cremated and to have a private family send off by her son.
