Vickie's Obituary
Vickie A. Fellner, 68, of Benton Harbor, went to meet her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville.
A Celebration of Life Eternal will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, May 11, 2023 at First Church of God, 2627 Niles Ave., St. Joseph, with Rev. Chris Spitters officiating. Private burial will take place at a later date at Riverview Cemetery Columbarium. Memorial donations in Vickie’s name may be made to First Church of God-Benton Heights Campus. Vickie was born June 8, 1954 in St. Joseph to Robert & Irene “Snookie” Fellner. She graduated from St. Joseph High School, Class of 1972. Vickie was employed for many years in the human resources department at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph. She was an active member of First Church of God-Benton Heights where she participated in Tuesday evening Bible Study and taught Sunday School for many years. Vickie cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and her many friends at Church. In her free time, she enjoyed listening to music, both Christian & 70’s, collecting driftwood on the beach, and the time spent with her Rottweiler canine companions.
Vickie is survived by two daughters-Andrea (Sean) Truhn of St. Joseph, Melissa (Tim) Rose of Battle Creek; six grandchildren-Tait, Calista, Aryah, Anaya, Anthony & Braylee; siblings-Janet Mattox, Annette Fellner & Robert (Micki) Fellner, Jr.; brother-in-law Manfred Hammermeister; and several nieces & nephews. Vickie was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Doreen Hammermeister.
