Travis S. Nelson, 41, of Millburg, passed away on September 7, 2023, at Corewell Health-Lakeland.
Travis was born on December 4, 1981, to Ricky & Kathy Nelson in Zanesville, OH. He attended St. Joseph High School. Travis worked in the construction industry for Pantelleria Construction as a talented carpenter, where he was very proud of his work. In his spare time, Travis enjoyed cooking, fishing, snowmobiling and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan, “Go Bucks”. His most cherished time was spent with his family, especially with his daughter Zoé and stepdaughter Pyper. If you knew Travis, you would know, that he never met a stranger.
Travis is survived by his mother, Kathy (David) Smith and father, Ricky (Brenda) Nelson; daughter, Zoé Nelson; stepdaughter, Pyper Florin; mother of Zoe and Pyper, Melanie Ott; sisters, Alicia (Phil) Dine and Madalyn (Phil) Lange; grandmothers, Janet Hill and Judy Allen Nelson; and several extended family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to the Zoé Nelson College Fund c/o Kathy Smith.
