Thomas's Obituary
Thomas Alan Nowak, 47, formerly of New Buffalo now of St. Joseph, MI, passed away in his home on Sunday – March 12, 2023. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sommerfeld Chapel – 15 N. Barton St., New Buffalo, MI.
Tom was born on July 26, 1975 in St. Joseph, MI to the late Bruce and Joanne (Lucas) Nowak. He was a 1993 graduate of New Buffalo High School. Tom loved playing and watching sports and was a Notre Dame fan. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and especially loved the children in his life. He will be missed by many friends and family.
Tom is survived by his brother Mike (Shelby) Nowak of Portage, MI; and nieces Reagan and Madaline Nowak.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday – April 1, 12pm, at Sommerfeld Chapel in New Buffalo. Friends may visit with the family from 10am-12pm preceding the service at the funeral home. Tom’s final resting place will be at Pine Grove Cemetery in New Buffalo with private family services at a later date.
