Thomas “Tom” Kitron, 61, of Schoolcraft, MI passed away Friday, December 15, 2023 at his home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 P.M., Friday, December 22, 2023 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI 49085. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in St. Joseph. Tom was born August 3, 1962 in St. Joseph, MI to Kay & Marilyn (Mattner) Kitron. He graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1980. Tom served his country in the United States Army from 1980 until 1984. After his service he attended Lake Michigan College and Ferris State University where he received his Bachelor’s degree. He worked as the IT Manager for Nexthermal in Battle Creek, MI for over two decades. Tom enjoyed going to concerts, playing his guitar, motorcycles, fast cars, NASCAR, and trips to Tennessee.
Tom is survived by his daughters Jaime (Travis) Neary and Taylor Kitron; three grandchildren Audrey Rohr, Theodore Rohr and Annabelle Neary; best friends Glenn Bizer and Carlos Coss; and his special work family.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents.
