Teresa L. “Terri” Zuber, 53, of St. Joseph, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022, at home.
A celebration of life gathering will be held from noon-3 pm on Saturday, February 5, 2022, with the Rosary being recited at 2:30 pm, at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Terri was born on April 19, 1968, to Clifton and Betty (Hendrix) Nelson in St. Joseph. She graduated from St. Joseph High School and went on to attend Lake Michigan College. On April 29, 1989, Terri married Andrew Zuber in St. Bernard’s Catholic Church. She was a faithful servant of God throughout her life, and was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church. Terri was a tremendously devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was determined to a fault, always putting her family’s need above her own, even if to her own detriment. Her grandchildren meant everything to her, and anyone who spent more than a fleeting moment in earshot was sure to hear a story about her children, who remain an immense source of pride. In her free time Terri enjoyed curling up with a good book, or one of her beloved cats.
Terri is survived by her husband of 32 years, Andrew P. Zuber; sons, Gregory A. (Sabrena) Nelson and Jacob C. (Taylor) Zuber; grandchildren, Arya M. Nelson, Elijah C. Zuber, Isaiah J. Zuber and brother, Clif Nelson, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Betty Nelson.
