Tammy's Obituary
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 9, 2023 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Deacon Phil Sirk officiating. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home. Tammy was born August 19, 1950 in Benton Harbor to Nicholas & Charlotte (Rennick) Duran. She graduated from St. John’s Catholic High School, Class of 1968. On December 6, 1968 she married Fred Hultgren at St. John’s Catholic Church in Benton Harbor. Tammy was a member of St. John-St. Bernard Parish. She devoted her life to caring for Fred and their home. She enjoyed, golfing with Fred, vacationing with their good friends Mike & Tina Kirby, shopping, and watching and feeding the birds at her home. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Tammy is survived by her son Mark Hultgren of Dallas, Texas; her siblings-Steve (Cindy) Duran, Leta (Rick) Huebel, both of St. Joseph, Cheryl (Robert) Clubs of Baroda; numerous nieces & nephews; sister-in-law Kathy Baiers of St. Joseph, and her best friends and caregivers Mike & Tina Kirby of Coloma. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred on August 19, 2015, and parents Nick & Charlotte Duran.
