Susan Tilly, 71, of St. Joseph, MI passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, August 26, 2024 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Burial will follow at Spring Run Cemetery in St. Joseph. Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M., Monday at the funeral home. Susan was born November 6, 1952 in St. Joseph, MI to Otis & Helen (Gangwer) Stanger. On September 26, 1969 she married Dale Tilly in St. Joseph. Susan and her husband Dale were the owners of Brookside Nursery and Landscaping. Susan enjoyed paper crafts, scrap booking, making wreaths and cherished being with her grandchildren and animals.
Susan is survived by her daughter Traci (Michael) Laskowski; son Todd Tilly (Jeri Sue Edelberg); grandchildren T.J. Tilly, Addison Laskowski, and Ava Laskowski; sister Diana (Bob) Goff; sister-in-law Rolene Stanger; and brothers-in-law Steve (Kellie) Tilly and Douglas Tilly.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother Kenneth Stanger.
