Susan Janke, 72, of St. Joseph, MI passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Caretel Inns of Lakeland in St. Joseph.
A Private Graveside Service will be held at a later date at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Southwest Michigan or the American Heart Association. Those wishing to share a memory of Susan online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com
Susan was born June 21, 1950 in Coloma, MI to Owen & Shirlee (Muenchow) Stewart. On December 8, 1979 she married Larry Janke in Watervliet, MI. Susan worked for United Federal Credit Union for almost all of her career for 40+ years. Susan was an avid Michigan State Fan and enjoyed watching the basketball and football games. She also enjoyed reading, taking family vacations and was known as the family caregiver.
Susan is survived by her daughter Diana (Matthew) Newberry; and grandchildren Melanie & Larissa Newberry. Susan was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
