Stephanie's Obituary
A graduate of St. Joseph High School, Stephanie went on to become the President of State Tool & Manufacturing Company, where she excelled in growing the business.
Her spirit was one of charisma, joy, warmth, and optimism until the end. She added lightheartedness to the lives of those around her. She loved boating on the St. Joseph River, watching U of M football, spotting orioles in the backyard, and having a drink on the beach. Mostly, she loved having her family under one roof.
A phenomenal wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend, Stephanie is succeeded by her husband of 31 years, John Merrill, two daughters, Casey and Allie Merrill, her mother Mary Ann Raschke, sister Lynn Raschke, and her brother Scott Raschke; and three nieces-Emily, Anna & Rachel Raschke. She was preceded in death by her father Manroe Raschke on August 17, 2020. She will be greatly missed by her friends, whom she loved dearly, and beloved dog, Turbo. Stephanie’s absence is felt deeply.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Zion St. Joe United Church of Christ, 3001 Veronica Dr., St. Joseph, with Rev. Glennyce Grindstaff officiating.
