Shirley Carolyn Sater-Roberts, 87, of St. Joseph, MI passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel – 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph, MI.
Shirley was born on April 2, 1935 in South Bend, IN to the late Toddy and Esther (Haines) McIntyre.
Shirley is survived by three grandchildren – Ryan Sater-Morse, Krystal (Joel) Vance and Jessica (Jason) Tipton; four great grandchildren – Jade, Hailey, Avah and Kinsley; siblings – Jeri (Steve) Stewart, Buddy (Carol) McIntyre and Bruce (Debbie) McIntyre; step-children – Lorie Vogie, Julie Sanders, Joyle Woulfe, Lisa Roberts and Dana Smith; daughter-in-law – Kathy Sater; and special friends Mary Funk and Tom Thorn. She is preceded in death by her husband – Doyle Roberts; children – Brian Martin, Donald Sater and David Sater; and a sister – Toddy Portwood.
Shirley enjoyed country music - especially Keith Urban and Reba McIntyre, going to the casino, and was a very classy and glamorous lady. Over anything else she loved her family and spending time with them. Shirley will be missed but never forgotten.
