Shirley's Obituary
Shirley Ann Morris, 89, passed away peacefully at her home in South Haven, surrounded by her adoring family.
She was born on April 16, 1934. On August 15, 2023 she ascended to heaven to be with the Lord and her parents.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Charles Morris, united by love for over 52 years. She also leaves behind two daughters, Sandi Shine of Holland, Michigan and Brynn (Brian) Lundgren of Fort Myers, Florida and one stepson, Charles Morris Jr. (Anita) of Bangor Michigan. Four grandchildren, Joel Kaczmarek, Ryan Shine, Stacy Kellogg and Nicole DeWard along with 10 great grandchildren survive her. She will also be dearly missed by her sister, Marjorie Likes of Bokeelia, Florida and by many nieces and nephews.
Shirley was passionate about her grand dogs, watching the hummingbirds near her window, her TV shows and visiting with friends and family. She loved to sing and the first song she taught her girls was “You are my Sunshine”.
Self-love, cleanliness, compassion for others and loving with your whole heart are the legacies she left with her children.
Visitation for Shirley will be Friday, August 18, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at The Filbrandt Chapel 1076 S. Bailey Avenue, South Haven, Michigan 49090. Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. immediately following the visitation. Shirley will be laid to rest at North Shore Memory Gardens Cemetery: 5027 M-63, Coloma, Michigan, 49038.
