Sergia Robles, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. She was born on October 6, 1941 to Serafin Mercado-Acevedo and Maximina Garcia in Aguada, Puerto Rico.
A funeral service for Sergia will take place on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 11:00 am at Starks and Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph, Michigan 49085. Visitation will take place two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place following the service at Calvary Cemetery in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Sergia had a passion for gardening both flowers and vegetables. She loved singing around the house. Most of all she loved to take care of her family.
She is survived by her husband, Ramon Robles; children, Joanne (Miguel) Duron, Jose Lewis Perez, Ana Perez, Zorida Perez, Carlos Perez, Filomeno (Leslie Ann) Perez, Carmen (Frank) Nunez, Heriberto (Liz Scully) Mercado; many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, siblings, Epifano Garcia, Mozarate “Pete” Garcia, Efrian Garcia; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Auerlio Perez; and three infant sisters.
