Ruth's Obituary
Ruth E. Patzkowsky, 99, of St. Joseph, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 22, 2023 at The Willows in St. Joseph. She was born July 15, 1924 in St. Joseph, Michigan to Albert and Emile (Metz) Patzkowsky.
A celebration of Ruth’s life will be held at 9:30am, Friday, December 29, 2023 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Pastor Michael Roth officiating, proceeding to Lincoln Township Cemetery in Stevensville for committal. Memorial contributions may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church, 619 Main St., St. Joseph, Michigan 49085.
Ruth lived a very active lifestyle, which kept her young at heart throughout her 99 years of life. Ruth worked for Whirlpool in employee relations for over 45 years before her retirement. She was committed to her bowling league, being an active participant for over 75 years and was an avid golfer. She also loved to travel, which took her to over 100 countries during her lifetime. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Ruth is survived by her nieces and nephews, Ken Patzkowsky, Joyce (Kurt) Tillmann, and Don (the late Judy) Barker; and other extended family members. She is preceded in death by her brother and sister; and her parents.
