Rosendo's Obituary
Rosendo Torres Tobias, 74 of Alton TX passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 10, 2023. Born in Mexico to Innocencio Torres and Felicitas Tobias.
Visitation for Rosendo will be Sunday, July 16, 2023 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Filbrandt Chapel, 1076 South Bailey Ave, South Haven, Michigan. Rosendo will be laid to rest at Garden of Angels Cemetery in Mission TX.
Rosendo is survived by wife Francisca Novarro, children; Raphael Torres, Guadalupe Torres, Jesus Torres, Alma Torres, Jorge Torres, Havier Torres, Rosendo Torres Jr., many grandchildren, great grandchildren and his Blue Star Farms family. Also survived by siblings Cesar Torres, Pepe Torres and Consencia Avelina.
Preceded in death by parents Innocencio Torres and Felicitas Tobias.
Rosendo lived and worked in South Haven from May to October before returning home to Texas. He was a hard worker for 25 years at Blue Star Farms as a handyman, mechanic, laborer, anything that was asked of him. When he was not working, he liked to buy used cars to fix and sell. He is irreplaceable and will be deeply missed by all of his friends, family and coworkers.
