Ronald A. Gacek, 83, of South Haven MI passed away on March 19, 2022. He was born in Chicago, Illinois to the late George and Helen Gacek.
Ron graduated St. Rita High School in 1956 and worked as an Electrical Supervisor at the US Steel South Works and LTV Steel. Ron was a strong, loving and supportive father. He enjoyed his fishing trips to Canada and Michigan. He was also a die-hard Cubs fan.
Ron is survived by his wife of 63 years, Rita M. Gacek. His four loving children, Karen (Jerry) Rhea, Jeff (Patti) Gacek, Linda (Fred) Blanda and Julie (Ron) Mariani. His older brother Donald (Betty) Gacek. His loving grandchildren Karen, Frank, Allison, Neil, Jackie and the late Kailyn Rhea. His great-grandchildren Kasey, Frankie, Harper, Nathan, Nikolas, Jack, Connor, Evan and a dearest uncle to many. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A private family service will be held at The Filbrandt Chapel, 1076 S Bailey Ave, South Haven, MI 49090.
