Rev. Albert Lee Grayson, left his earthly home to be United with his Lord and Savior on November 26, 2023. Rev. Albert Lee Grayson was born on May 14, 1944 to Willie Grayson and Mary Robinson Overton in Clarksdale, Mississippi.

A wake for Albert will be on December 16, 2023 at Greater Pentecostal Temple C.O.G.I.C. 323 Abell St. South Haven, Michigan 49090, from 11 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 12 p.m. Pastor Dre Love will officiate. Albert will be laid to rest in Covert Cemetery.

Albert leaves behind to cherish his memory, wife Ruby, children; Virginia Fullerlove, Bloomington, IL., Mae Reatha Grayson, Chicago, IL., Mae Louis Grayson, Bloomington, IL., Albert (Sarah) Fullerlove, Bloomington, IL., Willie (Cheri) Grayson, Portage, MI, Artricia Garrison, Dearborn Height,s MI, Charles (Kerry) Grayson, Zeeland, MI, Lawrence Grayson, Grand Rapids, MI, Shereen (Marquese) Allen, Grand Rapids, MI, Allyssa Grayson, Holland, MI., Mary Net (Keith) Grayson, Memphis, TN., Bill Fullilove, Elgin, IL., Jesse (Mary) Fullilove, Wisconsin, and step children; Antionette, South Haven, MI., Lucius Smith, South Haven, MI., Lee (Danielle) Smith, Wyoming, MI., Ruben Smith, South Haven, MI., Jeremiah Smith, Kalamazoo, MI., Catherine Smith, South Haven, MI., Beautiful Blessings of Kentucky, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by parents Willie and Mary Overton, previous wife Shirley Grayson, and children; Clinton Fullerlove, Christine Jones, Johnnie Grayson and Isaiah Fullerlove.

Albert was a man of great faith, using his life to serve the Lord and the people in the community. He was ordained by Rev. N. Sanders on May 6, 1979, at Trinity Baptist church after moving to Michigan, where he then became part of the Ministerial Alliance. Albert was a man of few words but he loved to preach, he was the pastor at Messiah Missionaries Baptist Church for many years, and also pastored at New Testament Church, some of his children attended services and performed duties at the church. Albert helped many different pastors and ministers in the community. Albert was also a member of the Masonic Lodge of Covert Michigan. He was a very hard worker and worked for Pullman Industries as a welder. Albert loved his family deeply and was a well-respected and much-loved member of the Covert community.
