Quinn was born on November 9, 1989, in Kalamazoo, and was raised by Heidi (Hopmoen) and Mitch Koehler. She graduated from Berrien Springs High School and was enrolled at Grand Rapids Community College working towards a Bachelor’s in Social Work. Quinn was always drawn towards helping people with dementia; she would strive to find that one key factor to relate to them and build a connection. She was a past employee at Caretel Inns of Lakeland and worked as an Independent Home Health Care Aide. Another passion of Quinn’s was painting and crafting. She loved painting beautiful abstract and scenic pieces. She also enjoyed working with resin. Tending to her plants, both indoors and outdoors, gave her great joy. Quinn had a huge heart and loved taking care of animals, especially her ducks. Although she was only with us for a short time, Quinn’s beautiful soul and incredible personality will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Quinn is survived by her parents, Heidi (Mitch) Koehler; children, Ezra Bernard Kerlin, Michael Faultersack, and Matthew Hallacy, Jr.; siblings, Cecily (Steve) Finehout, Stephanie (Corey) James, Adam (Brittney) Kerlin, and Margrethe (Fiancé, Owen Cole II) Kerlin; step-sisters, Brandie (Dustin) Rasmussen, Amy Koehler, and Ariel Koehler; nieces and nephews, Ameria, Adele, Arwen, Esmé, Aimée, Piper and Emmitt; and beloved aunt and uncle, Carmella & Bernie Kowalski.

Quinn was preceded in death by her beloved father, Michael Realmuto.
