Patricia A. Cartee, 81, of Stevensville, passed away, Friday, October 7, 2022 at Caretel Inns of Lakeland in St. Joseph.
Private burial will take place at Hickory Bluff Cemetery in Stevensville with Rev. Nathan Buch officiating. Memorial donations in Pat’s name may be made to St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church. Those wishing to sign Pat’s Memory Book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com.
Pat was born July 26, 1941 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Scott & Ruth (Viel) Morse. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School, Class of 1959. Pat spent her working career as a medical transcriptionist, serving many doctors and hospitals in the area. She was a long-time member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church where she volunteered for the Church and The Hope Chest. Pat loved her Lord, her Church, and her family, especially her two granddaughters. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, playing cribbage, baking and spending time with her family.
Pat is survived by her children-Steven Robards of St. Joseph, two daughters-Anne (Doug) Rentfrow of Kalamazoo, Jill (Tom) Golden of St. Joseph; two granddaughters-Ellie & Gracie Golden; her sister Gaylene Morse of Ludington, MI; several nieces & nephews, cousins and longtime friends. “Love you Longer” Mom/Grammy, you will be deeply missed and treasured forever.
I can do all this through him who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13.
