Patricia Ann Neumann, 85, of St. Joseph, passed away, Saturday, September 28, 2024, where she most recently resided.

Pat was born January 12, 1939 in Benton Harbor to Wilbur & Twyla (Roosevelt) Charleston. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School. Pat’s first employment was with Michigan Bell Telephone for many years before her employment at Holly’s Landing in St. Joseph as a waitress. She made many friends over the years. Pat spent twenty-four years as a bus driver for Coloma Schools as well as operating her own house cleaning service for many families in the area. She spent twenty-plus years as Mrs. Ronald Neumann before his untimely passing.
Pat was a former member of First Baptist Church in St. Joseph. She was an avid walker to stay in shape and enjoyed soaking up the sun in her back yard, every chance she had. Pat was a very friendly, loving & caring person. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Pat is survived by her children-Mark Harper of Okinawa City, Japan, Cindi Rouse of South Haven, Beth (Brian) Newton of St. Joseph, Scott (Erica) Neumann of Niles, MI; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her sister Mary (Richard) Fester of Benton Harbor; and numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Michael Harper, her husband Ronald Neumann, her former husband Donald Harper, and siblings-Wilbur “Bill” (Pat) Charleston, Jack (Esther) Charleston, Jim (Michelle) Charleston, & Betty Charleston.
