Norma's Obituary
Norma Ruth Sill, 94, of St. Joseph, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 19, 2023 at her home in St. Joseph. She was born November 26, 1928 in Lansing, MI to Frederick and Marie (Eberhart) Markwart.
Norma spent her career as a secretary, retiring after many years from Whirlpool. During her time there she was a member of the Golden Eagles, as well as a member of the Red Hat Society. During her younger years, Norma enjoyed traveling and vacationing with her husband, Earl. She also enjoyed collecting antiques and had done quite well with her collection over the years.
Norma will be missed by her children, David (Delora) Sill, and Debra (Gig) Holmgren; her grandchildren, Matthew (Christine) Sill, Alanna (Mike) Fellner, Rebecca Sill, and Lori Brovont; her great grandchildren, Shawn, Shane, Elizabeth, Seth, Noah, Eian, Chase, Jacob, Logan, and Crew; and her great, great grandchildren, Sophia, Trinity, and Janessa.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Sill, who she married on May 30, 1948 in St. Joseph; and her parents.
Services will be held privately. Memorial contributions may be given to Caring Circle Hospice, www.spectrumhealthlakeland.org/caring-circle.
