Milton H. Freshwaters, 86, of St. Joseph, passed away, Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at his home.

Milton was born May 12, 1936 in Benton Harbor to Milton B. & Harriett (Hauser) Freshwaters. He graduated from Washington-Clay High School in South Bend, Class of 1954. Milton went on to further his education and graduate from Indiana University with a Bachelors Degree. He worked as a substitute teacher for many years with St. Joseph Public Schools. Milton was an avid reader and loved to study history. He could answer almost any history question and find your location on a map. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Milton is survived by his sister Lorraine (Dale) Grabowski of Argyle, TX; his nephew Greg (Suzie) Grabowski of Cumming, GA; two nieces-Cindy (Pete) Mitchell and Tina (Michael) Iverson both of Argyle; eleven great nieces & nephews; and nine great-great nieces & nephews. He was preceded by his parents.
