Shelly was born on March 26, 1964 in Benton Harbor, Michigan to Richard, Sr. & Patricia (Bradl) Collis. She graduated in 1982 from St. Joseph High School. She married the love of her life Steven Linebaugh on September 7, 1991 at Hagar Shore Park. Shelly has worked at various factories such as Zenith and Leco, but her most favorite “job” was owning her own nursery where her natural green thumb was able to flourish. To this day her garden and various plants continue to adorn and beautify her home and property. Shelly absolutely loved photography and took the most incredible pictures of nature such as beaches, lakes, lighthouses and forests. She loved to be in nature, whether it was at the beach, camping, just walking through the woods or spending time on her property. She loved her family, her very special friends and her beloved dogs and cats that she rescued throughout the years. Shelly loved having gatherings for things like The Super Bowl, especially when her favorite team, the San Francisco 49ers were playing and The Daytona 500. Steve and Shelly traveled extensively to attend NASCAR races. She hosted huge Halloween Parties, where people would come in costume year after year. So many people loved Shelly and being around her. There was never a place she went where she didn’t receive compliments on her long, beautiful hair. Shelly had a heart of gold and blessed this earth for 58 years, putting a special mark on everyone’s heart that met her. She will be missed more than words will ever say.

Shelly is survived by her loving husband of nearly 32 years, Steve, her mother, Patricia Collis; siblings, Karen (Greg) Mashak; Tom (Diane) Collis; Diane (Sherry) Collis; nieces and nephews, Jamie McQuillan, Jackie Collis, Brian (Monika) Mashak, Melissa (Doug) Pugh, Marshall Collis, Kathryn (Travis) Martin, Janet Linebaugh and Steven Linebaugh. Shelly was preceded in death by her father, Richard Collis, Sr., siblings, Richard Collis, Jr., Theresa Collis and Mary Carol Collis; and niece, Jenifer Collis.
