Michael's Obituary
Michael Thomas Street, 54, of St. Joseph, MI, passed away on Sunday – February 19, 2023 at the Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville, MI.
Michael was born on October 24, 1968 in St. Joseph, MI to father Thomas Street and mother Rickie Subka-Street Wills. He is survived by his father-Thomas of St. Joseph; mother-Rickie (Jeff) Wills of South Bend; sister-Michelle (Michael) Brow of St. Joseph; niece-Olivia (Nik) Miranda; nephews-Sam Haskin and Luke Brow; great-nephew-Holden Miranda; his dog-April, being cared for by his uncle-John (Jan) Street of Berrien Springs; as well as many other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Michael served his country while in the U.S. Navy. He was a machinist in the tool and die industry. Michael loved NASCAR, going to car shows with his father Tom and uncle John, camping at Sprint Car races at dirt tracks, fishing, and watching the Detroit Lions playing football. He worked in construction and was a handyman – there was nothing he could not do or fix. He will be missed but not forgotten.
A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Thursday – February 23, 11:00am, at Trinity Lutheran Church – 619 Market St., St. Joseph, MI, with Pastor Michael Roth officiating. Visitation with the family precedes the service at the church from 10:00-11:00am. Burial follows at Crystal Springs Cemetery in Benton Harbor, MI. Memorial donations in Michael’s memory may be made to the Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville.
