Patch was born May 16, 1957 in Glen Dale, West Virginia to Dale & Patty (McHenry) Loy. He worked for Batson Printing as a Supervisor for over 20 years and was known as a fanatical Ohio State and Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. He also enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle and his two cats Tom & Jerry. Mike was a social butterfly who loved getting out daily to all the local pubs and restaurants. He was a well-known, loved local character in these establishments. Most notably the Sandbar, Chatterbox, Babes Lounge, Coach’s and Wings etc.
Both employees and customers will lovingly laugh and tell you Patch could be a handful every so often but it is clear he is truly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
Mike was also known in his neighborhood as someone who always had a friendly greeting and never hesitated to help out in any way he could.
Mike is survived by his mother Patty Loy; sisters Willa (Todd Batson) Richard and Debbie Miller; brother Gary Loy; nieces Marisa Richard and Marcy Loy; nephew Corey Namack; aunt Phyllis Hewitt; and uncle Ron (Lorna) Loy.
Michael was preceded in death by his father and nephew Lester Namack.
