Megan's Obituary
Megan Elizabeth Hoyt, 16, lost her battle with cancer on Saturday afternoon, August 19, 2023 in Fennville, Michigan surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 15, 2006 in South Haven.
A time for family and friends to gather and share stories will be held Friday, August 25, 2023 from Noon to 4 P.M. at Filbrandt Chapel in South Haven. In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations In Memory of Megan, Hockey for Life.
Megan is survived by her parents, Andrew Hoyt and Denise Lindsey, her siblings, Madison and Andrew Hoyt. Also, surviving is her maternal grandmother, Missy Davidson, step-grandfather, Dave Davidson, paternal grandfather, Ron Hoyt, step-grandmother, Theresa Hoyt. Her aunt, Jill Lindsey and uncles Johnny Ray Lindsey, Ron Hoyt and Ed Hoyt. She is also survived by lots of cousins that were more like siblings than cousins. Preceding Megan in death were her grandparents, Doofy Lindsey and Jeanne Hoyt.
Megan was going to be a junior this coming year at Fennville High School. She was active in her high school sports participating in volleyball, basketball, and softball.
The family wishes to thank all those whom have given them support through this battle with cancer.
