Mary's Obituary
Mary Elizabeth Weinhart (White), 59, of Paw Paw, MI, passed away unexpectantly on December 16, 2023, at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI. Her family and friends are deeply saddened by her sudden death.
Mary was born on December 24, 1963, to William Edward White and Elizabeth Ann (Glossinger) White in St. Joseph, MI.
Mary received her BA in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis specializing in Montessori practices from Western Michigan University. Mary took pride in teaching and shaping the students she taught and their accomplishments.
Mary was kind and thoughtful and will be missed and remembered by the many lives she touched.
Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband John Weinhart; parents William (Bill) & Elizabeth (Betsy) White; sister Laura White; and grandparents Lester and Elsie Glossinger and MJ & Margaret White.
She is survived by her sisters Kathy (Doug) Harbert, Karen Rutkowski; nephews, Michael Harbert, Alexander (Cassandra) Harbert and Jack Rutkowski; aunt Sharon Glossinger; numerous cousins; stepdaughter Renee Weinhart; and stepson Michael (Holly) Weinhart.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, Mary’s family requests memorial contributions to be made to any local school lunch program to help erase school lunch debt. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Services, 269-556-9450.
